Henry Fredrick Schmidgall died May 29, 2011 at the age of 94. Henry worked as a printer for 40 years. They were married on July 3, 1954 and lived in Indianapolis during their married life.
Marie was born on a farm, one mile south of Birdseye, Indiana in Dubois County. She came to Indianapolis seeking work after there was no more fuel to run the farm during WW II. She and her mother, Ollie Comstock Donahue (who lived to be 96 years) left the farm on Dec. 21, 1943. A few days later, Marie found work at Eli Lilly and Company. Marie worked her way up to supervisor before retiring Dec. 31, 1979. Her father, Charles Summer Donahue was born Oct. 2, 1893.

They brought joy to their stories of days gone by and while living each day to the fullest.
