Marilyn Eloise Santiago

Marilyn Eloise Santiago (nee Hebert), of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, began to experience eternal peace on February 4, 2016 at Westfield, IN, at the age of 68 years. Loving mother of Richard (Julaine) and Grandmother of Justin and Joshua Santiago of Westfield, IN. Beloved sister of James (Terry) Hebert of Las Vegas, NV and David (Barbara) Hebert of Stevens Point/Plover, WI. Much loved aunt of Michael (Susan) Hebert of Carlsbad, CA, Dannielle Hebert of Stevens Point/Plover and Matthew Hebert currently of Madison, WI. Marilyn was preceded in glory by her father, Leo Hebert, and mother, Marion Hebert, of Milwaukee, WI and is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Administrative Secretary for the Milwaukee School District for 35+ years, tireless volunteer for educational, church and social groups, active social companion, insatiable traveler and devoted family member and friend, Marilyn's legacy is profound. Those who have enjoyed Marilyn over the years frequently celebrate her contagious laughter, her empowering smile, her unfailing joy, her empathetic eyes that let whoever she was talking with know with certainty that she was listening intently, caring deeply and thoroughly enjoying the conversation.
Marilyn's precious legacy will be remembered and celebrated in a memorial service at Elmbrook Church (North Chapel) in Brookfield, WI, Friday, February 12. Visitation begins at 4:30 in Fellowship Hall with a service at 6:00 in the North Chapel, followed with dinner.
