Marion "Bud" Leroy Baldwin

Marion "Bud" Leroy Baldwin, 96, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at his home. He was born on October 24, 1927 to John and Margaretta (Reel) Baldwin in Noblesville, Indiana. 

Bud was a 1947 graduate of Noblesville High School and joined the Noblesville Fire Department in 1948. For over 21 years, he worked for NFD, serving as Chief from 1964-1969. Bud was then a salesman for DUO Supply Co. from 1969-1979. He had been a member of Christ Lutheran Church since 1953. Bud loved fishing, designing lures out of wood, and taking his grandkids fishing. He was also a woodworker and loved playing golf. 

Bud is survived by his sons, Bret (Cindy) Baldwin and Brian (Trudy) Baldwin; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Lee Baldwin, Megan Leigh (Eric) Orcutt, Michele Lyn (Scott) Goff, and Malory Lane (Clint) Ward; and 6 great-grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Martha Ann Baldwin in 2018. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with services at 12:00 pm, on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church, 10055 East 186th Street, in Noblesville. Rev. Jacob Hercamp will officiate. Burial will be at Arcadia Cemetery in Arcadia.
