Marion 'Deter' R. Ploughe

Marion ‘Deter' R. Ploughe, 75, of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel. He was born on September 17, 1941 to Abraham and Mary (Hecker) Ploughe in Indianapolis. Deter was retired from PSI (now DUKE energy). He liked to fish, camp, read and travel; and was always ready to help others. He had a great sense of humor, and was quite the comedian.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Ploughe; sons, Jay Dee Ploughe and Michael (Paula) Ploughe; grandchildren, Chad Seats, Cory Ploughe, Zander Ploughe and Nathan Ploughe; great-grandson, Christopher Seats; and soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Gwen Seats.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Tragesser.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
