Marjorie Joan Massingale

Marjorie Joan (Heber) Massingale, 74, Fishers, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at home. She was born August 17, 1934 in Indianapolis to Orlo and Emma (Jackman) Heber.
Marjorie retired in 1996, as Area Manager, after more than 40 years of service with the IPS Food Service. Many of her 40 years were spent working at Arlington High School.
She was very involved in the tutoring program through Oasis, at New Britton Elementary School; and had also been a Girl Scout Leader and a volunteer with Meals On Wheels in Hamilton County.
She is survived by daughter, Diane Killinger; grandson, Nicholas Killinger; sister, Norma Jean Lefevers; seven nieces; three nephews; several great-nieces & nephews; and many extended family & friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Lee Massingale.
Services will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Friends may call Sunday, May 10, 1:00 - 4:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
