Mark Hicks

Mark Katsu Hicks , 51, of Fishers, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021, at his home. Born on July 8, 1969, to Terry and Sachiko Hicks in Yuma, Arizona. Mark is survived by his wife of 19 years, Alesia; parents, Terry & Sachiko; sons, Garrett, Landon, and Jackson; sisters, Aiko "Michele" and Kimiko; many nieces & nephews; his Adidas family; and many close friends.

For over 25 years, Mark worked for Adidas as the Director of Order Fulfillment.  He loved golfing, bowling, running, fishing, and going to the beach. Mark was always the life of the party.

Mark was completely dedicated to his children in every way; their strength these past few days is the best sign that he is still here with us in spirit.

Mark and Alesia did not get nearly enough time together. But as heartbroken as his family is, they are equally grateful. Even though the last few days have been the darkest and saddest moments of their lives, they know how lucky they were to have him in their lives. They are grateful for every minute they had together.

As we put Mark to rest, he will live on in the stories people share of how he touched their lives. We see Mark in the eyes of his family and friends and in the spirit and resilience of his children. Things will never be the same but our memories of him will always help us through the hard times.

But….let us not be sad. Mark would want you to celebrate his life and not mourn. So sit back, pop a cold Coors Light and reflect on your favorite memories of Mark.

Join us! It’s a casual affair! Wear comfortable clothing, and if that includes your best Mark Hicks-style Hawaiian shirt, so much the better. Services will be held at 6:00 pm, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm, on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers.
