Mark Allen Shiveley, 53, of Carmel, passed away on October 30, 2024, at his home. He was born to Dave and Arlene Shiveley on October 21, 1971, in Mount Clemens, Michigan. He graduated from Fenton High School in Fenton, Michigan.
Mark began his career in roofing at the age of 18, starting as a roofer at Sherriff-Goslin Roofing Company, where he worked his way up in the company. He was promoted to Manager and he and his family relocated to Noblesville, Indiana. This is where he and his former wife, Christina of 23 years, raised their two children, Hunter and Hayley. Mark later joined Roof It Forward, where he excelled as a sales manager, always eager to help his coworkers and customers.
Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outside, perusing thrift stores and estate sales looking for unique finds to add to his furniture business as well as watching football, especially the Michigan games. Go Wolverines!!
Mark had a passion for bird watching and took great joy in tending to his garden, where he found peace and fulfillment. He was also known for his exceptional cooking skills and singing around the house. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, being a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather.
Mark is survived by his mother, Arlene Shiveley; his brother, Pat Shiveley; his daughter, Hayley Shiveley; his son, Hunter Duffy; his grandson, Calin Shiveley; and his former wife, Christina Shiveley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Shiveley; and his brother, Dan Shiveley. The family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Mark’s care.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 14, 2024, at The Rock Church, 11499 Linden Rd., Fenton, MI 48430.
