Marlis Jane Wayman

Marlis Jane Wayman, 65, of Noblesville, surrounded by her family, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home.  She was born on December 26, 1957 to Jack and Corrine (White) Gerdes in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Marlis was a housekeeper for Sanders Glen Assisted Living. She enjoyed nature, being outside, and taking hikes. Marlis also liked traveling with her husband. 

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Mark Edward Wayman; children, Nicole Standifer, Ashley (Dan) Watkins, Anna (Erin) Merchant, Joel Wayman, Jessica (Justin) Miller, and Joshua Ryan; siblings, Jack Gerdes, Jr., Eddie Gerdes, Georgia Hughart, Teresa Wolff; sister-in-law, Pamela (Terry) Gallaway; brother-in-law, Dan (Angie) Wayman; grandchildren, Teagan Engles, Isaac Boatwright, Cami Merchant, Eli Merchant, Avery Merchant, Kolt Merchant, and Audrina Wayman Miller.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Lighthouse Assembly of God, 5909 S Jay St in Marion, with Rev. Jerry Gallaway officiating.
