Martha Goad
Martha L. Goad, 95, of Fishers, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. She was born on May 18, 1918 to Harley and Hattie (Merchant) Young in Petersburg, Indiana.
Martha worked for Dorothy's Apparel Shop, and Nancy Lee's Smart Shop for 20 years before retiring in 1978. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, in Noblesville, and was also a volunteer at Riverview Hospital for 15 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna K. (Gary) Brock; son, Thomas L. (Jean) Goad; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Orian T. Goad; siblings, Helen Ramage, Daphena Walker, Mary Daubenspeck, and Vesper Young.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am until the time of service. Chaplain Carol Sowle will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverview Hospital Memorial Foundation PO Box 220 Noblesville, IN 46061.
