Martha Jane (West) Wade, 83, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Carmel St. Vincent Hospital. She was born January 9, 1925 in Noblesville to Homer E. and Margaret Ruth (Zimmerman) West.
Martha was an elementary teacher for Noblesville Schools for 32 years.
She was a member of Clarksville Christian Church; the Indiana Retired Teachers Association; the Hamilton County Retired Teachers Association; and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by several cousins, nieces & nephews; and special friends, Curtis & Margaret Smith of Hindsville, Arkansas.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Wade in 1997; and brother, Joseph Edward West.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Pastor Steve Fair officiating. Friends may call Monday, November 3, 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery.
