Martin Thieme

Martin H. Thieme, 92, Noblesville, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at home. He was born January 26, 1916 in Goff, Kansas to Paul Ernest and Rosa Marie (Eberwein) Thieme.
Martin had worked for Nicholson File Company in Anderson, for 42 years, in addition to being a life-long farmer. He was a 60-year member of Christ Lutheran Church in Noblesville.
He is survived by his sons, Marty (Marsha) Thieme and Ron (Sally) Thieme, both of Noblesville; sister, Alma Spiker of Topeka, KS; and four grandchildren, Matthew, Paul, Andrew, and Katie.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Catherine Thieme, who passed away in 2002.
Services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, January 2, 2009 at Christ Lutheran Church, with Rev. Adrian Piazza officiating. Friends may call Thursday, January 1, 4:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
