Marvin Landis

Marvin Lester Landis, 96, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on December 1, 1915 to James and Flora (Middleton) Landis in Hamilton County, Indiana.
Marvin retired in 1971 after working for Diamond Chain in Indianapolis and also Krik's Hardware in Noblesville. He was also an avid woodworker.
He is survived by son, Jim (Betty) Landis of Noblesville; daughter, Nancy Landis of Akron, IN; friend & neighbor, Karen Crusenberry of Noblesville; friend, Lawrence Vanbenthuysen; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Hazel Landis in 1994; and son, James Landis I.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am immediately prior to the service. Rev. Stanley R Sutton will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
