Mary Maxine (White) Collins, 90, Columbus, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 in Columbus. She was born August 1, 1918 in Sheridan, Indiana to James Shelba and Eva Mae (Steward) White.
Mary worked at the Ft. Harrison Finance Center in Indianapolis for 25 years. After retirement in 1978, she worked at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. Mary was a member of Bethel AME Church in Noblesville.
She is survived by a sister, Nora Fae White of Columbus, Ohio; sons, Edward Arnold Howard and William Eric Whitehorse; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Mallory Tarrance officiating. Friends may call Saturday from10:00 -11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery.
