Mary Jane Fox

Mary Jane Fox, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville.  She was born on July 5, 1933 to Arthur and Helen Brooks in Wabash, Indiana.

After staying home to raise her children, Mary worked for the IU School of Dentistry and then American National Bank.  After retiring, she enjoyed life and taking care of her husband.  Mary was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and had a very strong devoted faith.  She loved to read, especially her Bible.  Mary enjoyed being outside, gardening and growing things, riding bicycles, and taking walks in Forest Park and Potter's Bridge.  Most of all, her family was the center of her life and she loved her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children, Pamela (Jeff) Sherrill, George Fox, Samuel (Sheri) Fox, Teresa Marie (Jeff) Headrick, Margaret (Fred) Gildersleeve, Richard (Vickie) Fox, Joseph (Kiersten) Newby, and Sarah Fox; brother, Dave (Karen) Brooks; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fox; brother, Tony Brooks; and her sister, Jo Mountain.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with services at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
