Mary Lou (White) Jarrett, 92, of Fishers, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. She was born on January 29, 1920 to Jessie B. and Mary Alma (Dunlap) White in Swayzee, Indiana.
Mary Lou attended Indiana Central Business College. She retired after working 19 years in the Passport Office at Fort Benjamin Harrison. She was a member of Fishers United Methodist Church; involved in the Faith Circle, and 50 Plus Club. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #446. She enjoyed playing games, working crossword puzzles, knitting and crocheting. She also had a love of sports, and the ocean.
She is survived by three daughters, Janice Marie (James A.) Brooks of Fishers; Sharon Elaine (Mel) Blades of Indianapolis; and Patricia Lynn (Steve) Ringer of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Albert B. Jarrett (October 17, 2006); and a brother, Fred White.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 11, 2013, at the funeral home with additional visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Pastor Kevin McKinney will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
