Mary Kay (Marshall) McGlinch, 79, of Noblesville, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2015 surrounded by her family & friends. She was born on December 23, 1935 to Claude and Kathryn (Dohme) Marshall in Greenville, Ohio.
Mary Kay owned and operated the Uptown Cafe with her husband Paul for 29 years. She was known and loved by all who met her, and best known for her belief in service to her church and community. Mary Kay was instrumental in reviving the Noblesville Christmas Parade and downtown square holiday decorations. As an active member of Christ Lutheran Church, Mary Kay's love of music inspired her to direct the choir for more than 40 years. Most important to her was her five children, family, and friends.
Mary Kay is survived by her children, Elaine (Jon) Kennedy, Jeff McGlinch, Scott (Lori) McGlinch, LuAnne (Rich) Hubbard, and Mike McGlinch; four grandchildren, Mike Lee, Justin & Katie Hubbard, and Chelsea McGlinch; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary Kay was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul McGlinch; brother, Howard Marshall; and sister, JoAnna Onkst.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Christ Lutheran Church, 10055 East 186th Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Adrian Piazza officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
