Mary Ella Roop

Mary Ella (Warner) Roop, 99, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away Friday, March 27, 2009 at St. Anthony Home in Crown Point, Indiana. She was born December 4, 1909 in Jonesville, Virginia to William C. and Susan S. (Ely) Warner.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a member of Clarksville Christian Church in Noblesville. 
She is survived by daughter, Reba R. (Robert F.) Kraus of Crown Point, Indiana; daughter, Mary Belle Syferd of Peru, Indiana; son, William A. Roop, Sr. of Tennessee; son, Houston Thomas (Karen) Roop of Michigan; son-in-law, Bobby W. Waddell of North Carolina; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 68 years, Houston Roop, who passed away in 1998; daughter, Jewell L. Waddell; infant daughter, Jouie Sue Roop; son-in-law, Richard E. Syferd; six brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville with Pastor Steve Fair officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, April 1, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Clarksville Christian Church Expansion Fund.
