Mary L. Sutton, 92, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at IU Health West Hospital in Avon. She was born on October 26, 1922 to James and Sally (Myers) Baker in Noblesville, Indiana.
Mary graduated from Noblesville High School in 1940, and was a member of Noblesville Friends Church. She worked as a secretary for Firestone Industrial Products and Campbell, Kyle & Profitt. She also owned Eternal Dreams, a shop for wedding flowers. Mary was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, and loved painting with oil and watercolors. She was a member of the Joy Belles vocal group, and played the organ. Mary also helped on the farm. She enjoyed raising chickens.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia K. (Larry Joe) Smith; grandchildren, Dustin (Allison) Smith, Gina (Scott) Silverthorn, and Anita (Mark) Hall; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Sutton in 1993.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation from 10:00 am to the time of service. Pastor David Adams will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
