Matthew Gately

Matthew E. Gately, of Noblesville, IN, passed away January 30, 2013. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina July 28, 1924 and lived most of his life in the United States.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Jacqueline T. Gately, whom he faithfully loved through her difficult battle with Alzheimer's disease.
He worked for 36 years as a trust and estate attorney for The Bank of New York while living in Riverside, Connecticut. He spent his later years in Indiana near his immediate family.
He is survived by his son, Malcolm Gately, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Gately, and granddaughter, Alexis Gately.
A memorial calling will take place from 4 pm to 8 pm, Monday, February 4, at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home, 12010 Allisonville Rd, Fishers, Indiana, 46038. There will be no funeral service. A private memorialization will take place in Riverside, Connecticut at a future date.
