Maxine Metsker

Maxine Y. Metsker, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on June 7, 1923 to Robert Raymond and Della (Steward) Yancey in Hamilton County, Indiana.
Maxine worked 40 years as an Assembly Worker for Delco Remy of Anderson, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Noblesville. Maxine was a "loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all."
She is survived by son, David (Barbara) Metsker of Noblesville; two brothers, Harold (Veneta) Yancey, and Wayne (Peg) Yancey, both of Noblesville; sister, Edith Tate of Bloomington; two grandsons, Scott (Holly) Haskett of Westfield, and Craig Haskett of Indianapolis; plus two great-grandchildren, Olivia & Meredith Haskett of Westfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Metsker (April 6, 1981); brother, Edgar D. Yancey; and three sisters, Ruth Ammerman, Kate Fouch, and Marian Weaver.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
