Melba M (Infante) Gonzalez, 84, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Westminster Village North in Indianapolis. She was born November 8, 1924 in Cuba, to Miguel and Concepcion Infante.
In Cuba, Melba had taught first and second grade in a schoolhouse that her husband had built. She loved her family and loved to sew. She was a very good seamstress.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carlos R Gonzalez of Noblesville; daughter, Melba (Ronald) Kiser of Noblesville; son, Carlos A Gonzalez of Noblesville; grandchildren, Bryan Gonzalez of Fishers, Sara Poppitz of St. Louis, MO, Lauren Kiser of Flemington, NJ, Megan Gonzalez of Fishers, & Katie Gonzalez of Fishers; and two sisters, Anna & Gloria Pino.
Services will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with calling beginning at 10:00AM, prior to the service. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.
