Melissa L. Ahner, 50, of Anderson, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on March 29, 1964 to Ralph and Mary (Kaiser) Gough in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her parents preceded her in death.
Melissa studied architecture at IUPUI, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Veterinary Technology from Westmoreland Davis Equestrian Institute in Leesburg, VA. She was a horse riding instructor, and enjoyed all pets, especially horses and horseback riding.
Melissa is survived by her son, Ian Ahner; daughter, Amelia Ahner; and brother, Matthew Gough.
Services will be private.
