Michael Wayne Collins, 49, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 2, 1970 to Wayne and Mary Faye (Richwine) Collins of Noblesville in Dallas, Texas.
Mike was a 1989 Noblesville High School Graduate. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University in 1994 and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from Indiana in 1995. He worked as a medical device sales professional for 16 years and most recently as a Technology Sales Manager. Mike was a huge sports fan who loved IU basketball, Bobby Knight, the Pacers and the Colts. He loved to work out, play fantasy football and spend time with his friends and family. Mike had a wonderful sense of humor, magnetic smile and loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Mary Faye & Wayne Collins; sister, Jennifer (Justin) Sage and their children, Katie, Lloyd, Justin and Ben; sister, Marcie (David) Richardson and their son, Collin Matthews; as well as many aunts, uncles & cousins.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dot & Lloyd Richwine and Hattie & Harry Collins; cousins, Nick Bruggner and Don (Marty) Leech; and his uncles, Frankie Collins and Bob Richwine.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 20, 2019 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road in Fishers, with Rev. Patrick Click officiating. A private family burial will be at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Elwood, Indiana.
