Michael Donald Granger

Michael Donald Granger, 66, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on September 25, 2022, at IU Health North Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.  He was born on January 17, 1956, at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  He was the son of Pauline O’Rear Hicks and Charles Joseph Granger. 

He is survived by Susan Granger, Father, Charles Joseph Granger, his two sons, Michael Joseph (Kenean) Granger and Jordan David (Kate) Granger; and his daughter, Katherine Pauline Granger.  Michael has two sisters, Dorothy Granger and Deborah Peoples and his brother Daniel Hicks.  Mike was so very proud of his 9 grandchildren, Moses James, Eden Mariam, Jerusalem Naomi, Tsion Ella, Hannah Mae, Elijah Leslie, Abigail Linnéa, Caleb Martin and Evangeline Lisbeth.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline O’Rear Hicks and his grandson, Elijah Menelik Granger.

Mike received an associate’s degree from Indiana University and was the owner and operator of RSVP Restoration in Indianapolis.  He loved being social and spending time with his family and friends with pickleball being a favorite sport.  Most of all, Mike loved and adored his children and grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:00am at Castleview Baptist Church, 8601 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will begin at 9am with until the time of service.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville, IN.
