Michael P. Marinaro

Michael P. Marinaro, 59, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 24, 1955 to Frank and Dolores (Fitzpatrick) Marinaro in Teaneck, New Jersey. His parents precede him in death.
Michael was a 1977 graduate of Miami University, and was a self-employed structural engineer with Professional Engineers' Group. He was an Eagle Scout, was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu, and was instrumental in contributing to the ARE Review. A man of faith, Michael was a community & church volunteer, and a dedicated platelet donor. He loved to travel & explore, traveling to all 50 states and many countries; and was very musical, playing the guitar, ukulele, and numerous other instruments. Michael had an infamous and "punny" sense of humor, loved others, and was loved well.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Deborah Marinaro; daughters, Michelle (Lincoln) Kaffenberger, Kathryn (Daniel) McElroy, and Jennifer Marinaro; sisters, Kathryn Marinaro, and Sandi Volpe; brothers, Frank Marinaro Jr., and Steven Marinaro; one granddaughter, Liliana Kaffenberger; and many nieces & nephews.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Tom Metzger officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, either monetary or blood donations, may be made to Indiana Blood Center, 7458 Fishers Station Drive, Fishers, IN 46038.
