Michael Prater

Michael Edward Prater, Sr., 61, Cicero, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born November 9, 1947 in Elwood, Indiana to Harold E. Prater, Sr. and Edith (Durr) Prater.
Michael was a 20-year retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in Vietnam.  He was also a machine operator at Biddle Precision Components in Sheridan.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Prater; son, Michael Prater, Jr.; son, Matthew Miller; daughter, Marsha Marie Branson; daughter, Crystal Miller; brother, Steve Prater; brother, Bill Prater; brother, Harold Prater, Jr.; sister, Judy Prater; sister, Pat Mullins; and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Julie Miller; and brother, Doug Prater, Sr..
Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, April 20, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Richard D. Bell officiating. Friends may call Monday, April 20, 10:00AM - 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
