Michael Rohde

Michael M. Rohde, 70, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at his residence in Noblesville. He was born January 7, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri to Clifford Harra and Marveen (Miller) Adkins. He was raised by John and Alice Rohde.
Michael served in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the Noblesville American Legion, and former member of the Noblesville Moose.  He enjoyed boating, traveling, photographing his travels, and playing the piano. Michael retired in 2000 after 30-plus years in medical sales. He worked for Medical Oxygen Services in Indianapolis as a vice-president and general manager. In 1981 he relocated to Kansas and worked at Sherwood Medical until his retirement. He attended Christ Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Rohde of Noblesville; daughter, Carla (Gregory) Simpson of Lee's Summit, Missouri; step-daughter, Katherine (Boler) Brown of West Lynn, Oregon; step-son, Craig Lane of New Braunfels, Texas; step-son, Keith Lane of Fairland, Indiana; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Hannah, Jacob Simpson, and Austin Brown.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Adrian Piazza officiating. Friends may call Saturday, January 24, 12:00 - 2:00PM at the funeral home.
