Palmira 'Mira' M. Bisard, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at home. She was born on January 30, 1930 to Giuseppe and Kristina (Blazina) Metlikovec in Sistiana, Italy.
Mira retired from Western Electric in Indianapolis, after 25 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville, where she was involved in the Altar Rosary Society. She dearly loved her church, her family, and people in general. She was an avid bowler; a member of the 55 Club; and enjoyed her visits to family in Arizona.
She is survived by daughter, Diana (Mike) Stern; son, Robert (Beverly) Bisard; twin-sister, Vera (Jim) Miller; sisters, Maria Odorico & Valentina (Frank) Ferraco; brother, Giuseppe (Julianna) Metlikovec; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Laverne R. Bisard; and sister, Leopolda Kornov.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 5, 2013, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville, immediately after Mass.
