Miriam C. Doron, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at Carmel Health & Living. She was born on February 29, 1920 to Joseph and Mary (Heindell) Grimm in West New York, New Jersey.
Miriam had worked for Houbigant's Cosmetic & Perfume Company as a makeup model. She attended St. Louis deMontfort Catholic Church in Fishers. She was an avid bowler, Bingo and card player; and was also a volunteer at the polls on election day in Queens, on Long Island, NY.
Miriam is survived by two daughters - Donna (Bill) Rollman of Carmel, Mary Ellen (Bernard, Jr) Pappas of Fishers, IN; brother - Manfred Grimm of Fort Lee, NJ; grandchildren - Robyn Mercer DVM, Mark Rollman, Stephanie Pappas & Beth Ann Pappas; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne T. Doron; two sisters - Grace Eisengart & Ann Schmalz DeZuzio; and two brothers - Joseph Grimm & Jack Grimm.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 10, 2010, at Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church, in Fishers, with visitation beginning one hour before the mass. Rev. Patrick Click will officiate.
