Mollie Ely

Mollie T. Ely, 63, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on September 23, 1947 to Ethel Thacker in Pennington Gap, VA.For over 15 years, Mollie worked as a Environmental Supervisor for Woods Wire in Carmel. She was the mother of New Light Christian Center for 30+ years. Mollie, along with her brothers & sister, founded and built the church to what it is today. Mollie enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, traveling, and being with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Mollie Yvette (Tim) Wallace and Tracie Y. (Doug) Toomey; grandchildren, Melissa and Michael Tomey; step-grandchild, Tiffany Wallace Campbell; step-great-grandchildren, Mariah and Naomi; brothers, Ronnie (Cindy) Thacker and James Thacker; and sister, Melena (Gary) Burgan. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Randel Ely. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Pastor Michael W. Risden officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Noblesville.
