Wally Ducote Winslow, 62, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus. She was born on June 15, 1951 to Joseph and Helen (Smith) Ducote in Memphis, Tennessee.
Wally was a graduate of Catholic University in Washington D.C. before moving to the San Francisco bay area, where she continued working. In the late 1990's, she started volunteering at the MS Society, where she worked for several years as a librarian.
Wally was loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her engaging smile, her sense of humor and wit, her love of poetry, and her spirit. Her courage in struggling with her disabilities was admired by and inspiring to many.
Wally was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Philip Winslow of Hercules, California. She is survived by her sisters, Jere Polemis, and Sara Smallwood of Noblesville, and nieces and nephews.
