Nancy L. Clinton, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Allisonville Meadows (Healthcare) in Fishers.  She was born on February 15, 1935 to Fred and Juanita (Speaks) James in Washington Court House, Ohio.

Nancy was a dance teacher who also worked at the clerk's office and for Sweitzer's in Noblesville.  She taught tap, ballet and ballroom dance for 47 years.  Nancy owned Nancy Lee Smart Shop.  She was a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church where she worked in the office, enjoyed singing in the choir, and also played in the bell choir. Nancy was an actor, choreographer and seamstress in community theatre.  She loved the outdoors, working in her yard and tending to her flower garden.  Most of all, Nancy loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Clinton; daughters, Karen (Roger) Chaudion and Christy Clinton; son, Russell (Juliana) Clinton; grandson, Kyle Richard (Amy) Chaudion; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Lynn Chaudion; great-grandson, Andrew William Chaudion; sisters, Ann Blake, Linda Kipker, and Cindy Shamp; sister-in-law, Cathy James; as well as many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Brian Douglas Tescher; brother, Richard Michael James; first husband, Richard Lee Tescher; second husband, Larry Richardson; and her niece, Andrea James.

Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 2:00 pm to the time of service at the church.  Pastor Jerry Rairdon will officiate.
