Nancy Featherston

Nancy Jane (Boutwell) Featherston, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at home. She was born on May 9, 1930 to Ward and Margaret (Frick) Boutwell in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She married Glenn Melvin Featherston on May 6, 1951.
Nancy was a homemaker and had lived in Noblesville for over 60 years. She was a member of Gray Friends Church; had worked with the Meals on Wheels program; and was a graduate of Shortridge High School in Indianapolis. She was involved with many organizations, including: United Society of Friends Women (USFW), Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) - Horseshoe Prairie Chapter, Red Hat Society, Associated Committee of Indian Affairs, Western Yearly Meeting Executive Board, Missionary work/projects, Riverview Auxiliary, and Republican Women's Organization.
In addition to her husband, Melvin, she is survived by sons, Scott (Teresa) Featherston & Kip (Debbie) Featherston; daughters, Jan (Gary) Foulke & Amy (Mark Day) Featherston; grandchildren, Amanda (James) Haag, Amber Featherston, Brittany (Charles) Goff, Briana Featherston, Brock Featherston, Bridgette Featherston, Brooke Featherston, Brant Featherston, Victoria Foulke, Jennifer Foulke, Christine Foulke, Adam (Jessica) Bowen & Craig (Hayley) Bowen; and great-grandchildren, Cameron Haag, MaKayla King, Aiden King, Adrienne Goff, Brody Goff, Callen Goff, Olivia Bowen, Jack Sherley & Edan Sherley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother; an infant sister; and a great-grandson, Tyler Haag.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Gray Friends Church, 4810 East 146th Street, Noblesville, IN 46062. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, IN 46062. Burial will be in Gray Friends Cemetery in Noblesville.
