Nancy A. Lockhart

Nancy A. Lockhart, 81, of Westfield, passed away on the early afternoon of Sunday, June 19, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 22, 1934 to Raymond and Kathleene (Johnson) Firestone in Noblesville, Indiana.
Nancy was a 1951 graduate of Westfield High School, and worked as a USPS Mail Carrier for 16 years, retiring in 2000. Always keeping busy, she also made pies for Pickett's Cafeteria, and previously worked for Westfield Public Library, as she was an avid reader and enjoyed genealogy. Nancy attended Westfield United Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling; she loved going to Australia and Greece. Nancy had an infectious smile and loved to laugh; she enjoyed her pool and hostessing parties. Most of all, Nancy loved spending time with her family, and loved taking the grandchildren on long walks.
She is survived by her husband, Roy E. "Tuck" Lockhart; daughters, Jackie (Donald) Brewster, and Lynn (David) Martin; sons, Tony Lockhart, and Dean (Beth) Lockhart; seven grandchildren, Brian Rider, David Martin III, Courtney Scott, Whitney Wolf, Matthew Lockhart, Curtis Lockhart, and Stephanie Lockhart; seven great-grandchildren, Corinne Capadagil, Lilliana Wright, Peyton Scott, Alayna Lockhart, Aiden Wright, Quinnlyn Scott, and Reagan Martin; sister, Joyce Jones; as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Rider; brother, Charles W. Firestone; and sister, Marcia K. Firestone.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 5:00 pm to the time of service. Nancy's grandson, David Martin III, will officiate.
