Nancy Anne Loftus

Nancy Anne Loftus, 85, of Cicero, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 21, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Elmira, New York, in 1939 to Howard and Sarah (Roland) Budd. After meeting on a blind date, Nancy married her husband, William Loftus in Elmira, and they recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

Nancy was a faithful Christian, who enjoyed music and art, and was an avid piano player. She appreciated nature, especially bird watching, and was an animal lover. 

She is survived by her husband, William A. Loftus; son, William S. (Barbara Schreiber) Loftus; daughters, Wendy L. (William) Vorreiter and Julie A. (Daniel) Hays; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and five nieces and one nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Mahlon Budd, Jr.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Pastor Stephen Schultze officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, New York at a later date.

Nancy was a lifelong animal lover, and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to Humane Society for Hamilton County, 10501 Hague Road, Fishers, IN 46038, www.hamiltonhumane.com or an animal charity of your choice.
