Nancy L. Everson Mallery, age 74, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009. She was born April 21, 1935, in Indianapolis, to Thomas A. Everson, Sr. and Mildred Frances Buckler Everson. A 1953 graduate of Fishers High School, she was employed at Firestone Industrial Products until she married Garrick E. Mallery at the Fishers Methodist Church. She was a member of the First United Methdist Church in Noblesville where she sang in the church choir and taught Sunday School, was a Board Member of Hamilton Centers Auxiliary, was a member of the Indiana Standard Bred Horse Association, and the U.S. Trotting Association. With her husband she was actively involved in racing their Standard Bred horses at Hoosier Park, Indiana Downs, and in Ohio and Illinois. She cheriched her family and friends as well as her love of cooking and flower gardening. After her children were raised, she assisted her husband in his real estate business.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Garrick; daughter, Carol (Phillip) Payne and children, Emily, William, and Nathan Payne; sons, John G. (Teresa) Mallery and children Cassandra (Mitch) Trimble and Garrick R. Mallery, Frederick K. Mallery, and David C. (Ellen) Mallery and children Curtis, Phillip, and Kaitlin Mallery; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by brother, Thomas A. (Karla) Everson, Jr. and sister, Kristin C. Everson (Phillip) Coplen.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John D. Everson and a sister Karen S. Everson Wright Blue.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 1:00PM at the Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 8 from 4:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
