Nancy Josephine Parsons

Nancy Josephine Parsons, 85, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her home.  She was born on February 10, 1936 to Van Roy and Mary M. (Goode) Marple in Atterson, Kentucky.

Nancy was a member of the United Pentecostal Church Noblesville. She worked for over 30 years as an administrative secretary at Fort Harrison. Nancy was a Godly, Christian woman, who was a caregiver, helper, and nanny to everyone. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling with her family and spending time in Florida. 

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Christine (Hardy) Stephens; son, Jeff Parsons; siblings, Billye Meadows, Rodney Marple, and JoAnne Millikan; grandchildren, Brittney Parsons, Lydia Parsons, Jerrod Stephens, Tyler Chastain, and Danielle Stephens; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Gilbert, and Maliah Parsons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Parsons; siblings, James Harold Marple, Mary Frances Marple, Betty Lou Marple, and Janie Lancaster; infant sisters, Joyce Marie Marple and Carolyn Sue Marple.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Crownland Cemetery, 1776 Monument Street in Noblesville, with Pastor Chapman officiating. A celebration of life and meal will be held at the church immediately following the graveside service for anyone wishing to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's name to United Pentecostal Church Noblesville, 1516 Morton Street, Noblesville, IN 46060.
