Mrs. Sylvester was a volunteer in the North Elementary school library and active in line dancing at the Noblesville Senior Center, Lawrence VFW and the Sheridan Community Center. She was also a volunteer to elderly and shut-ins through the Carmel and Noblesville Senior Citizens Centers.
Mrs. Sylvester most enjoyed family time, and in early years she was an avid roller skater with them at the Noblesville Rainbo Roller Rink. In earlier years, she took piano lessons, played throughout her life and later helped coach her granddaughter, Jenn, on piano. As a proud grandmother, she also attended all of her school activities and performances. She loved shopping, and collecting designer stuffed bears and Longaberger baskets.
