Neal McCarty

Neal McCarty, 69, Westfield, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2008 in Westfield. He was born December 31, 1938 in Westfield to Victor W. and Elva (Overdorf) McCarty.
Neal was a lifetime school teacher. He was a graduate of Greensburg (IN) High School, Indiana Central and Indiana University. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Noblesville.
He is survived by a brother, Kenneth McCarty; sister-in-law, Claudia McCarty; sister, Peggy (James) Marlin; niece, Vaun McCarty; nephews, Vincent McCarty & Jay Marlin; three great-nephews; and Rita Vandrovec, a beloved family friend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry R. McCarty.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Pastor Scott Apple officiating. Friends may call Friday, January 2, 4:00-7:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.
