Nellie Femyer

Nellie M Femyer, 91, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Riverview Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1919 to Charles and Dessie Shepard in Jackson County, IN.
Nellie worked as a Salesperson for G.C. Murphy. She attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the First Nazarene Church of Noblesville. She was a member of Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxilliary, Senior Citizens of Noblesville and the Murphy Veteran Club. She was also a former member of the Pythian Sisters and was Past Chief. She enjoyed her family, sewing, doing crafts and playing bingo.
She is survived by daughter, Beverly S (Dennis) King, sister, Helen Lloyd, brother, Dale (Pat) Shepard, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, as well as several neices, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Shepard and Charles Shepard.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, May 9, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor Stan Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
