Nellie Ann Pipkin

Nellie Ann Pipkin, 74, of Carmel, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at The Restoracy of Whitestown. She was born on December 5, 1949 to Benny and Virginia (Lawson) Ball in Pennington Gap, Virginia. 

Nellie retired from data entry for MJ Insurance Company. She enjoyed crochet and needlepoint. Nellie loved reading, especially murder mysteries and "The Cat Who..." book series. She was obsessed with Scooby Doo. 

Nellie is survived by her son, Benjaman L. (Amber) Pipkin; and her grandson, Jackson L. Pipkin. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Leigh Pipkin. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with funeral services at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Burial will follow at Farley Cemetery in Carmel.
