Noel J. Reeker

Noel J. Reeker, 94, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson. He was born on December 25, 1920 to Hubert Reeker and Cecile (Jones) Overturf in Jefferson County, Illinois.
Noel proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army. He owned and operated Aggregates of Anderson for 75 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Carole J. Whitlow; granddaughters, Dawn (Jon) Chambers, and Renee Whitlow; and great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Megan, & Langley Noel Chambers, Michael Anderson, and Daniele Howard.
In addition to his parents, Noel was preceded in death by his wife, Martha R. Reeker, who died August 30, 1999; step-father, Charles C. Overturf; brother, Junior Moody; and great-granddaughter, Angel Chambers.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Oakdale Cemetery in Bluford, Illinois with military rites to follow. Rev. Kenneth Holland will officiate.
