Norman A. Kanwischer

Norman A. Kanwischer, 93, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Wellbrooke of Westfield. He was born on September 30, 1930 to Herman and Ella Kanwischer in Chicago, Illinois.

Norman proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a plant supervisor for British Petroleum. Norman loved gardening, picking weeds and planting flowers. He also loved spending time at his lake house in Michigan.

Norman is survived by his daughter, Lesly (Kevin) Bauer; sons, Norman W. Kanwischer and Craig (Sarah) Kanwischer; grandchildren, Heather Bauer, Michael (Kara) Bauer, Brandon Kanwischer, Emily Kanwischer, Julia Kanwischer, Kenneth Kanwischer, and Benjamin Kanwischer; and his brother, Wayland "Tiny" (Jean) Kanwischer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ardath Kanwischer; brothers, Harold, Leroy, and Ray; and his sister, Lorraine.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation has been entrusted to Randall & Roberts Funeral Home.
