Opal Smith

Opal Marie Smith, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born on May 15, 1924 to Earl and Josephine (Brewster) Crabtree in Monticello, Kentucky.
Opal worked as a production worker for Firestone Industrial Products.
She is survived by one son; one daughter; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three stepchildren; seven step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bob Crabtree.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Don C. Smith in 2007.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor Eric Haler officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
