Orville L. Ball

Orville L. Ball, Sr., 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at his home.  He was born on August 3, 1936 to Buster and Mary Lee (Marcum) Ball in St. Charles, Virginia.

Orville retired from Stoney Creek Stone Company after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed fishing and loved his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Cook; son, Ronnie Ball; sisters, Sandy Robison, Sharon Tomey, Tammy Harmon, Carlos Nix, and Brenda Owens; brothers, Benny Ball and David Ball; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Ball in 2015; sons, Orville Lee Ball, Jr. and Roger Dale Ball; sisters, Ilo Poindexter, Patricia "Jewel" Kirby, and Rose Jean Caudill; and brother, Buster "Jimmy" Ball.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Crownland Cemetery, 1776 Monument Street in Noblesville, with Pastor Darrell Jones officiating.
