Orville C. Quakenbush

Orville C. Quakenbush, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Riverview Health. He was born on January 14, 1927 to Cevil and Austa (King) Quakenbush in Marion, Indiana.
Orville proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He worked in construction at Tousley-Bixler Company, and was a member of Union AFLCIO of Terre Haute and American Legion Post 45 of Noblesville.
Orville is survived by his sons, Bob (Liz) Quakenbush, Dennis Quakenbush, and Tony Quakenbush; step-daughter, Sharon (Ron) Evans; step-sons, Alan (Donna) McElroy, and Steve McElroy; 22 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Orville was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Hill) Quakenbush, in 1998.
Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation from 4:00 pm to the time of service. Pastor Stephen Schultze will officiate.
