Oscar Colbert, Jr., 84, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born November 27, 1924 in Hartford City, Indiana to Oscar H. and Arilla (Reed) Colbert.
After retiring from Townsend Tree Service, Oscar work for the Noblesville Schools in building maintenance.
He is survived by sons, Carl (Peggy) Colbert of Noblesville, Joe (Carolyn) Colbert of Georgetown, IN, & Rex (Kandy) Colbert of Lebanon; sister, Nola Jean Ledbetter of Ft. Wayne; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Colbert who passed away in 1986; four brothers; and one sister.
Services will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Friends may call Tuesday, March 3, 5:00 - 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
