Ossie Jerry Fail III

Ossie Jerry Fail III, 53, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Riverview Health. He was born on February 11, 1963 to Ossie Jerry Fail II and Wilma (James) Fail Spearman in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and worked as a supervisor for 18 years at Brenntag. He was hardworking and loved watching sports, collecting sports memorabilia, and riding his motorcycle. An acquired taste, Jerry was playful and had a sarcastic dry sense of humor; he was also a big teddy bear at heart, fun-loving, and would do anything for his friends and family. Jerry loved his kids more than anything, loved his sisters & granddaughter, and was very proud of his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Brad) Purvis; son, Jonathan Fail; granddaughter, Maci; and sisters, Deborah "Elaine" Hutchinson, Georgia "YVO" Busby, Virginia "Ann" Russell, and Ronda Miller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Luke & Carter Purvis.
Services will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 4:00 pm to the time of service. Pastor Dennis Kinser will officiate. Burial with military honors will take place at a later date at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
