Patricia Ann Jones

Patsy Jones, 90, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.  She was born on November 29, 1932 to Louis and Sylvia Wright in Carmel, Indiana.

Patsy attended Butler University where she loved playing the clarinet in the orchestra, was a Tri Delta Sorority member and a big Butler Bulldog fan. Patsy also followed IU sports and many others. She took pride in caring for her family at home through the years.  Patsy was always active, working at Conner Prairie, Unfinished Furniture, and other jobs for several years.  She enjoyed rug hooking and was a member of the Pucky Huddlers Group, winning many awards at the Indiana State Fair.  Patsy was a Life Master player in bridge and enjoyed playing every day.  She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing the piano, and traveling the world.  Patsy loved the holidays and hosting Thanksgiving.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Patsy is survived by her children, Robert "Bob" Jones, Jim Jones (Maura Bergonzoni), Betsy Smith (Greg), Tom Jones, and Bill Jones; daughter-in-law, Beth Jones; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Paul Jones Jr. in 2005; son, Mike Jones in 2010; daughter-in-law, Gloria Jones; and her sister, Kay Dehaven.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a memorial service at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers.  A private interment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis at a later date.
