Patricia H. Brown

Patricia H. (Pat) Brown, 73, of Westfield, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Carmel, Indiana. She was born on July 16, 1941 to Bernard McNelis and Naomi (McNelis) Schwenk in Huntingburg, Indiana.
Pat graduated from Jasper High School in 1959, and married Jerry P. Brown on June 10, 1961. Working as a beautician for over 30 years, Pat enjoyed participating in events with her sorority, Delta Theta Tau, going to concerts and plays, and spending time with her family and friends.
Pat is survived by her sons, Steven (Kerri) Brown and Rodney Brown; granddaughters, Ashley (Andrew) Wozniewski, Kelsey Brown, and Lindsey Brown; siblings, Janet (Ray) Vaal, Mary (Norb) Luebbehusen, Tim (Darlene) McNelis, Sheila (Ed) Rudolph, Joe (Sharon) Schwenk, Audrey (Rich) Kruse, Phil (Sherri) Schwenk, Monica (Lee) Hicks, and Yvette (Mary) Schwenk; as well as cousin and close friend, Brenda (Carnie) Vann.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her step-father, Joseph Schwenk; and her loving husband, Jerry Brown.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Road, in Carmel, where she was a member. Rev. Richard Doerr will officiate. Friends and family will gather for calling on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Noblesville.
